Our Rainbow Agents and of course the local office will be delighted to process your booking or help you plan your travel itinerary.
To shorten the response time and come up with the best quote it is important that we receive your most relevant information as detailed below:

  • Type of accommodation and preferred category
  • Length of stay
  • Number of persons traveling
  • Age of children and specification whether they are sharing with parents or stay in a separate room
  • Special interest or special occasion (like wellness, adventure, anniversary, wedding, company event, team building etc.)

The services published on this website are holiday and business package tours for individual clients or groups of clients travelling to the Indian Ocean. The Tours comprise of flight, hotels, transfers, excursions, car rentals and other tourist services.
Tour rates and specific conditions may vary according to country of origin, season, travel destination, length of stay, etc. Your Rainbow agent may also apply specific conditions or fees, such as airport taxes or group fares.


After your travel itinerary has been set; a preliminary reservation with a cut off date for your accommodation and transport will be made. You will receive your confirmation form to complete and return together with a down payment (a percentage of the total amount). Upon receipt of such, your invoice will then be issued as a reconfirmation of your travel arrangement.


The remainder of the total amount is due to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. In case of reservation within less than 6 weeks prior to arrival date, the total amount will be requested, to be submitted with the confirmation form. For further details, please refer to the price list.


Payment terms for online bookings differ from arrangements through the agencies. As online confirmation is instantly, full payment is required at the time of booking.


After your trip has been fully paid, your travel itinerary and travel documents will be sent to you 3 weeks prior to departure. Upon arrival at your holiday destination, you will be met by the local representative and provided with your personal welcome folder containing general information on the island and the surroundings of your accommodation.


Modification or cancellation of a confirmed reservation might generate additional charges such as corresponding costs or penalty fees raised by the service providers. Airline tickets cannot be transferred to another person.
Agents will do their best to be flexible with eventually occurring changes. However, we must advise you that most flight tickets are non-refundable and that our partners will charge cancellation fees. In case of doubt, please refer to the general conditions specified in the price list and any special conditions defined on your invoice.


In the unlikely event of cancellation of a package trip by the tour operator, the agent will propose an equivalent trip and/or package to the client. If the client chooses to refuse that option, then the agent shall refund the totality of the sums already paid by the customer as well as a cancellation fee equivalent to the one, which he would have claimed if the customer had cancelled. In case of Force Majeure, above rules are not applicable.


Prices are generally published in USD or EUR and apply per person. Subject to currency exchange rates and in case of cost estimates in an alternate currency requested by the client; there might be a fluctuation between the time of the cost estimate/price displayed and the actual booking/purchase. All prices will be confirmed on your travel documents at the time of purchase. For further details, please refer to the price list.


The agent proposes any international airline as carrier between convenient gateways in Europe such as London, Paris, Frankfurt, and Milan for your direct flight to the island of your choice, or organises your connecting flight to the gateway airport. All rates are subject to change according to airline terms, fuel cost and season.
In no circumstances will the agent be responsible for the airlines failure to deliver the service according to their flight schedules and general airline contracting terms.
Airline rates are negotiated on an individual basis applicable up to specific cut off dates and according to the number of available seats at the time of reservation. In case of a late reservation, i.e. one that is past the cut off date, the agent will negotiate new seat availability, which may then cause additional charges. This will be communicated to the client at the time of reservation.


Rooms are generally made available from 14h00 local time and must be left on the day of departure at no later than 11h00. However, clients can avail themselves of an early arrival or late departure service. Hotels generally charge an additional fee equivalent to 50% of the normal chargeable rate for one night’s accommodation.


Customers are strongly advised to subscribe to adequate insurance cover relating to any trip. This includes risks relating to transport, baggage loss, theft, personal health complications or accidents and repatriation in case of illness, death, or premature return from holiday in general.


Any claims relating to a specific package or trips or services purchased from your local Destination Management Company or any of its accredited agencies shall be made in writing, within 30 days of the end of the trip by registered post mail (letter) or to the agency where the package, trip or service was purchased in the first instance.


The Rainbow IO is a travel and tourism concept, in a franchise system with local DMC’s (Destination Management Companies), registered as Travel/Tour Operators in their respective countries. This license constitutes a guarantee that the operator is to uphold the laws and regulations set by their government to secure your vacation.
Each DMC is the technical provider of the services provided to you throughout your stay. The accredited agent may hold a license in the countries of origin providing a further guarantee for vacation packages.
The Rainbow IO cannot be held liable for any omissions, misprints, misspellings that might occur in the production any publication and the prices in print or online. The Rainbow IO cannot be held liable for a) failure in providing the services, b) delays, c) effects on part of the trip in reference to point a) and b), that may be the responsibility of a third party provider, such as airlines, ferries, or others, which are not directly under The Rainbow IO’s control and operation. Each DMC or Agent is responsible for the services that they have contracted directly or indirectly.
