Swiss nature lover and therapist Birgitta moved to Mauritius in 2001, for the sake of its rare endemic flowers. She enjoyed the adventure of discovering the island and its wonderful nature sites and engaged in the making of tropical flower elixirs, inspired by and following the method of Dr. Edward Bach.
Her NaturEssences are made from local and endemic flowers of Mauritius, La Reunion and Rodrigues.
