Into the Green East

Learn about flower elixir making and the distillation of rare plants and flowers. During this day trip, we will meet the owner of a bio plantation, who also operates the only working still in Mauritius. This is quite a sight to see, especially during production of the rare and precious oils; which we later have a chance of sampling, while enjoying a refreshing drink. After a tour of the premises, we visit the shop for a presentation of locally made flower elixirs. We then have ample opportunity to buy the handmade souvenirs, oils and elixirs produced on site. After lunch at Domaine de l’Etoile, a stroll through nature and a refreshing bath in the nearby Pellegrin River mark the end of this excursion.
